The AB Rubber Engineering Premium Rubber Edge Protector Strip is the ultimate solution for protecting car doors, sharp metal sheets, glass panels, and furniture edges from damage, scratches, and wear. Engineered with heavy-duty flexible EPDM rubber and an integrated steel core, this U-channel profile provides a rock-solid, self-gripping hold without the need for adhesives or glue. AB Rubber Engineering manufactures custom Edge Protector profiles in materials such as EPDM, PVC, NBR, Neoprene, Silicone and other elastomer compounds, depending on the application requirements. Profiles can be supplied in solid, sponge or sealing configurations and can also be manufactured with steel wire, steel strip or metal reinforcement inserts for improved gripping and retention. The profile provides a combination of edge protection, cushioning, vibration absorption, weather resistance and aesthetic finishing. EPDM is particularly suitable for outdoor and automotive applications because of its resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure. Edge Protectors can be supplied in different widths, heights, wall thicknesses, clamping ranges, hardness levels, colours and lengths according to customer drawings, samples or application requirements. Custom profiles can also be developed for specific panel thicknesses and installation conditions.
