Technical Overview

AB Rubber Engineering manufactures high-performance Flocked Glass Run Channel Rubber Profiles designed for passenger cars, commercial buses, truck cabins, and industrial sliding glass channels. Flocked Glass Run Channel is a precision-engineered automotive sealing and guiding profile designed for installation inside vehicle door window frames. It provides a smooth and secure channel for the side glass to move vertically while maintaining effective sealing against external environmental conditions. The profile generally consists of a flexible EPDM rubber body with a flocked inner surface. The flocking creates a soft, low-friction contact area between the glass and the channel, allowing the window glass to move smoothly with reduced friction and operating noise. The rubber section provides the required flexibility, sealing, cushioning and weather protection, while the flocked surface helps protect the glass from scratches and reduces drag during window operation. Flocked Glass Run Channels are suitable for cars, buses, trucks, commercial vehicles and other automotive applications. They can be manufactured according to the vehicle door frame, glass thickness, channel geometry and customer drawing or sample.
